Helping Non-Profits Succeed with Foundation Fundraising

As a fundraising professional with over fifteen years of experience, I partner with non-profit leadership to refine and hone their restricted funding plans, research funding opportunities, create annual funding plans, and draft, write, and refine grant proposals and/or reports. Being successful with foundation fundraising goes beyond writing well-crafted proposals. I offer grantwriting services but also critical thinking around vision, strategy, and relationship with the funder, co-creating strategies with non-profits that will enable them to succeed. I’ve also worn various other non-profit hats. I started my fundraising career building volunteer relationships and organizing events with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and sat on a land trust board in Massachusetts.

If you struggle with your funding plans, are confused about the foundation funding landscape, lack the staff time to make your restricted funding successful, and need expert, efficient, reliable help with proposal writing, research, and strategy,  please give me a call. I’m happy to meet with you so you can learn more about how I can help your organization succeed.

I have invaluable experience and knowledge gained from eight years of raising money through local, regional and national funders (private foundations, corporations, and tribes) in Alaska, Idaho, and Washington. I’ve also assisted grantwriting classes at UW and Antioch, and am an active member of the Puget Sound Grantwriter’s Association. I offer you what foundation funders want most: expertise, trust, and follow-through.

I’ve written website content, e-newsletters, in-depth interviews, marketing and communications pieces, and press releases. I adhere to a high degree of upbeat professionalism and believe that work, while getting done well, should be an enjoyable process. You may contact me at or at 425-333-6949 (business) or 425-791-5250 (cell).
